Restaurant/places to eat in Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Oslo
Activities in Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Oslo
This may not be the cheapest option for a stay in Oslo but then again Oslo isn't the first choice if you want to go somewhere cheap. I think this hotel is a great place to stay for several reasons. First of all it is really close to all kinds of transport and sights (including the Royal Palace). The hotel itself is really clean, has a nice decor and the rooms are quite big and include a fridge and teamaker. The beds are perfect and so is the bathroom. The food in the restaurant is great even though there isn't a whole lot of choice. It is a pity that the restaurant is downstairs because the view in the Summit Bar at the top is brilliant (and it would be great to eat there as well). The hotel has a nice pool and sauna (it is a bit weird that you have to go into the seperate-sex changing room to get into the separate sauna's) and there was almost no-one there during our stay. Oh and there are loads of extra towels in the changing rooms. And the breakfast is really something else! There is so much choice I haven't even tried everything. And as we were there on the National Holiday there was also a lot of extra cake and strawberries (and it all tasted great!).

Great location and great views from 9th floor family room we had, which was comfortable and nicely fitted out. The pool in the basement was great to have, and the breakfast was very good with a huge selection of food on offer. Public transport was excellent with a tram stop right outside the hotel. We loved Oslo and all it had to offer.

Aoife

Great location near to transport links for hikes and shopping. Great view from the room and room was a good size. Brilliant spread at breakfast with a variety of options. Staff were quick to rectify any issues. Saunas were gendered and peaceful and relaxing with a bucket and water available.

I booked a premium room with a fjord view, so it was a lovely big room. They had decaf coffee and a coffee machine which i appreciated in winter. Great view from room. Food ordered from restaurant is good and they catered for my dietary requirements. Kitchenette and bathroom is well stocked.

Latha

The hotel, staff and stay was good. Breakfast was a bit strange setup - it felt like being in a camp. It is a big hall with tables in rows and a few stands with breakfast items. I don't know maybe it was temp due for some reason but not a good atmosphere.
